Terms & Conditions

As part of the reservation process, you must acknowledge that you have read these terms and will abide by the conditions detailed within. Any breach of the terms and conditions will result in guests being removed from the property.

Authorised guests

The Tasmanian Design House accommodates up to 4 people. It is not suitable for children under 12. No pets are permitted. No additional people are permitted at the property without additional authorisation.

Forbidden activities

Smoking is not permitted. No parties or functions of any kind are to be held at the property. No commercial activities are permitted without additional authorisation.

Your stay

In general, the minimum stay through our direct-booking website is 2 nights, with a 3-night minimum over long weekends or peak periods. The maximum stay is 7 nights.

Before arrival, you will be provided with a personal door code. Check-in is after 3pm on the day of arrival. Check-out is before 11am on the day of departure.

You will have exclusive access to the entire house (living area, kitchen, laundry, and two bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms) and surrounding area including the deck, the car parking area, and fire-pit. We reserve the right to enter and inspect the property at any time if we feel it is necessary to do so.

Payment and refunds

Our system requires payment to be made in advance. We offer a very generous cancellation policy: you will receive a 100% refund if you cancel any time up until 3 days before your arrival. Cancellation within 3 days of arrival will result in a 50% forfeit of the total booking price.

Additional payments

In the event that the property or its contents are damaged during, a fee to cover the replacement or remediation of items will be charged.
