- Parties: No parties or functions permitted. Only registered guests are allowed on the property.
- Smoking: No smoking permitted.
- Pets: No pets permitted.
- Animals: Horses live on the property, in fenced paddocks, and are generally visible from the house. Native animals, particularly wallabies, are likely to be encountered in the immediate surrounds.

Our journey as boutique accommodation providers began many years ago during a trip to Los Angeles, where we stayed exclusively at Airbnbs. We were blown away by the experience and how much more personal and welcoming it was compared to traditional accommodation. The individual hosts we met were incredibly helpful and genuine, and it left a lasting impression on us.
In 2010, we decided to share our own home in Murdunna with guests and became one of the first dozen Airbnb listings in Tasmania. Over the years, we continued to learn and improve our hosting skills, always striving to meet the high bar set by our first hosts – warm, friendly, and knowledgeable about the local area.
From 2014 until 2020, we offered an entire property in West Hobart for boutique accommodation, honing our hosting abilities, ensuring that each guest had a memorable and comfortable stay.
Finally, in 2021, we completed the Tasmanian Design House, and were able to apply all we had learned to create a truly special home in a stunning location. We look forward to the opportunity to provide you with an unforgettable accommodation experience.
