Rachael and Jet really know how to create a magical experience for their guests.
Rachael and Jet are the best Airbnb hosts ever! They go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. From the moment you arrive, they make you feel like family. Their attention to detail is impeccable, and they're always there to provide recommendations and assistance. The accommodation is fantastic, clean, and cozy. Rachael and jet were incredibly understanding when we accidentally only booked 2 out of the 3 nights we wanted. They were so kind and let us stay an extra night without any hassle. It just shows how amazing they are as hosts, always going the extra mile to make their guests happy. They truly deserve all the praise.

Furnishings were modern and the linen bedding and down pillows made for a very comfortable sleep. Bathroom products were high end. The setting was peaceful and so relaxing. Our girls got to spend some time with their horses which was an unexpected bonus and a great treat. The location is great if you want peace and tranquility. There’s even a chance to sit around the outdoor fire pit and refine your “toasting marshmallow” skills and have a great conversation or be hypnotised by the flames of the fire. We would definitely stay again.

We prised ourselves away to potter about the Peninsular for a while and then hurried back to enjoy some peaceful relaxation. A lovely weekend away.

This place was in a quite and idyllic... read more location, and felt at ease from the moment we walked in.
The place was beautiful styled and everything we could have wanted or needed was thought of and available. The linens and towels were fresh and plentiful, great light and space and style perfectly. But was easy to settle into and feel immediately comfortable in. The pantry and fridge were well stocked, with some lovely goodies and there was even a s’mores kit for the fire pit!!
Jet came down and introduced us to the horses and friendly wallabies.
The only thing I’d change for our next stay is to stay longer than one night!

Here, I was able to experience many aspects of Tasmania firsthand and appreciate the beauty and awe of nature.

The kitchen is a foodie’s dream and has EVERYTHING you could think of to cook plus lots of treats (the wooden worktops are gorgeous). Aesop toiletries. Fluffy robes. Quality bed linens and towels. Sonos speakers throughout. The local family of friendly wallabies and horses. And our absolute favourite - the fire pit, complete with the ingredients for s’mores - the most incredible way to spend an evening gazing at the brightest stars you will see. And to top it off, Rachel and Jet are truly superb hosts and went above and beyond to accomodate a last-minute request. Thank you… we can’t wait for our return visit!

  We knew when we’d found the listing for The Design House that we’d come across something pretty special- just didn’t realise how good till we got here. The photos and... read more description don’t really do this place justice - incredible location both for sightseeing and standalone, contemporary architecture which envelops beautiful spaces equipped in the most tasteful and thoughtful manner ensuring comfort and relaxation. Our hosts leant us an infra red torch to spot night time wildlife and despite our best efforts, we were constantly sidetracked by the Milky Way which hung with such clarity above us.
Thankyou Jet and Rachel for the consideration you showed us during our stay, and for building such a distinctive treasure in the huge enviable ‘back yard’ you are lucky enough to call home.

  we hv a wonderful tine in their design house.They prepared plenty of food including wine,fruits eggs ,and cheese etc which is unexpected.Walllarby nearby n pretty horses.Rachel&Jet prepared carrots... read more so that we could feed them.What a trip!I it is a great place to go around or just hv fun even staying at the house only.Definitely wl come back for.our next Tas trip. They are great hosts we ever met .
