The location was very private and... read more perched on a hill has beautiful views. The native animals were abundant and the resident horses gorgeous. Rachel and Jet were very generous in supplying gourmet provisions for our consumption.

There was a curated selection of Tasmanian novels in the house... I managed to finish Richard Flanagan's "The Sound of One Hand Clapping"...totally enriching my stay even more.

We love the Tasman Peninsula and the variety of activities that we were able to do including an encounter with a humpback whale on Pennicott Wilderness Journeys.
This stay was a special treat to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, well, needless to say... we did it in style.

Rachael and Jet are the best Airbnb hosts ever! They go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. From the moment you arrive, they make you feel like family. Their attention to detail is impeccable, and they're always there to provide recommendations and assistance. The accommodation is fantastic, clean, and cozy. Rachael and jet were incredibly understanding when we accidentally only booked 2 out of the 3 nights we wanted. They were so kind and let us stay an extra night without any hassle. It just shows how amazing they are as hosts, always going the extra mile to make their guests happy. They truly deserve all the praise.

Está decorada... read more con muchísimo gusto y perfectamente equipada. El tener 2 dormitorios y 2 baños la hace muy cómoda para 4 personas. Jet nos compartió mucha información acerca de los wallabies y pudimos alimentarlos. Los anfitriones nos ayudaron con recomendaciones y contestaron a todas nuestras preguntas.
Nos quedamos con pena de no poder pasar unos días más en la casa, ya que debíamos continuar nuestra ruta.

  Magical experience in a peaceful country setting surrounded with wildlife. Fantastic stary night skies, beautifully designed modern home incredibly well stocked for us. Comfie beds with cozy... read more linens and down pillows. A kitchen like you’d see in a magazine with all the lovely cookery, glassware, and accessories. Ample supply of luxurious bath products, JUST WOW!!!
BUT… the best part was Jet and Rachel.. what Amazing people.. we were thrilled when they agreed to join us for a glass of wine around the fire pit one night. We were literally surrounded by by their family of wallabies and were able to hand fed them. Really enjoyed meeting the horses and giving them a bit of an afternoon snack.
Ask Jet about his tours of Port Arthur. We attended his talk on Isle of the Dead. Wonderful historical stories of the people who lived and died there.
This was for us a highlight of our 4 month trip. We’re so very happy to have been able to stay 4 nights, wished it could have been longer.
