This place was in a quite and idyllic... read more location, and felt at ease from the moment we walked in.
The place was beautiful styled and everything we could have wanted or needed was thought of and available. The linens and towels were fresh and plentiful, great light and space and style perfectly. But was easy to settle into and feel immediately comfortable in. The pantry and fridge were well stocked, with some lovely goodies and there was even a s’mores kit for the fire pit!!
Jet came down and introduced us to the horses and friendly wallabies.
The only thing I’d change for our next stay is to stay longer than one night!

Comfie beds with cozy... read more linens and down pillows. A kitchen like you’d see in a magazine with all the lovely cookery, glassware, and accessories. Ample supply of luxurious bath products, JUST WOW!!!
BUT… the best part was Jet and Rachel.. what Amazing people.. we were thrilled when they agreed to join us for a glass of wine around the fire pit one night. We were literally surrounded by by their family of wallabies and were able to hand fed them. Really enjoyed meeting the horses and giving them a bit of an afternoon snack.
Ask Jet about his tours of Port Arthur. We attended his talk on Isle of the Dead. Wonderful historical stories of the people who lived and died there.
This was for us a highlight of our 4 month trip. We’re so very happy to have been able to stay 4 nights, wished it could have been longer.

The... read more house is even prettier than in the photos, and Rachel and Jet were the most wonderful hosts. From the thoughtful food that was provided, to helping the kids feed the wallabies and horses each day, our family had such an enjoyable stay. The house was also such a comfortable temperature and the kitchen was so easy and lovely to cook in. We hope we can return one day!

It was impeccably clean with the highest quality bath products and linens, top of the line appliances and all the amenities one could ask for.

The beds were very comfortable, and the bathrooms beautifully done, with rainhead showers and Aesop products for use.

This home is in a secluded spot with a view of grazing horses, the forest, and the ocean in the distance. But it is a short drive to the many sights and hikes of the Tasman peninsula. We loved having coffee on the deck while listening to the birds and watching a kangaroo graze in the grass.

Finally, the hosts provided thoughtfully chosen food items and even a bottle of wine, making us feel like honored guests. Our stay here truly set the bar for all future accommodations. Many thanks!
